  2. Strategic Facilitation

    Strategic Facilitation is a structured process through which a Vaughan Govier facilitator leads a management team through a purpose - strategy - implementation design cycle. The team will examine their current situation against their purpose and will go on to develop superior strategic options and then to create a plan for their strategic implementation.

    This is valuable at any time, however it is often used as part of a periodic work planning or budgeting cycle. As anyone who has been through a strategic planning, budgeting or planning process is aware there are strong psychological and social influences which prevent the important issues from being addressed. This process creates a safe environment for contribution, a foundation for collaboration, provokes broader thinking and the consideration of a much wider range of options.
