Meetings reveal the true dynamics and culture of a team. It is during a discussion that the levels of interaction and contributions from individual members become apparent. We are interested in improving the effectiveness of teams by observing them in meetings. Through structured observations, we uncover undesirable cultures that prevent teams from achieving greater success.
Meeting Assessment is a diagnostic tool that works out areas where the team can be more effective and efficient. Through meeting observations, we look at the entire team and the interactions of participants in the room. Contributions from every participant, the energy level and detailed quotes and observations are recorded. This gives us insights into the team’s dynamic, the 5 ‘C’s of collaboration, consensus, constitution, commitment and cohesion.
The aim is to look for unfavourable cultures or practices. The findings can be used in our coaching engagements to pinpoint specific areas for the team to work on.
